I recommend checking out Galina’s page on polytheist heroes and martyrs as well as this online ancestor shrine, which has a section where you can light a virtual candle and leave words of remembrance for the dead.
That is a really lovely idea.
However I’d much rather see folks lighting actual candles and making actual offerings to the dead.
So, to help those who may not know how to come up with their own basic rituals or who would like to follow a template that others are using, let’s see if folks will step forward and write some ritual scripts for this. Especially something that could be done multiple times — or hey, even every day — during October.
People say they want a “polytheism without borders” community. Let’s begin creating that by honoring our dead together.
