Hungry Queen of Flesh and Flame
seated on her throne of writhing,
impossibly entwining bodies,
watched on imperiously
as her subjects
conducted her red,
raw orgies
in the artificial
halflight of the cave
– a lake of limbs
and openings
and unrestrained,
wanton,
profligate desire,
voracious,
various,
bodily
and spiritual
appetites impossible to fulfil
by nature or by design,
a place beyond,
extremes of beauty and ugliness united,
where there is no identity,
no limitations,
no law or restrictions
save those imposed
by imagination and will.
